David Lee Allen, Jr., 5 months, of Genoa died Saturday, December 30, 2006 at home. He was born August 3, 2006 in DeKalb the son of David L. and Crystal L. (Goolsby) Allen.
He is survived by his parents of Genoa; one sister, Jada Allen of Genoa; grandparents, Brad and Linda Brink of Sycamore, Butch and Diane Milligan of Hampshire, Clyde and Judith Goolsby of Eldorado; great-grandmothers, Joan Allen of Hampshire, Nancy Allen of Hampshire; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, David E. Allen.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home with The Reverend Stephen Persson officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in care of Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St., P.O.
