Jacklyn Jay Campbell, 49, of Kingston, Illinois died Sunday, July 21, 2002 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb. She was born June 17, 1953 in Evanston the daughter of Joseph David Gerarge and Jean Beverly (Hull) Gerarge. She married Gene Campbell on February 16, 1974 in Roselle. She was employed as a camp cook for Walcamp in Kingston.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Campbell of Kingston; three sons, Chad, Tim, and Adam Campbell of Kingston; three sisters, Rose Marie Colli of San Jose, California, Janice Mey of Arlington Heights, Joyce (Paul) Ublasi of Crystal Lake; two brothers, Joey (Marilyn) Gerarge of San Jose, California, James (Judy) Gerarge of Algonquin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was an active member and treasurer of Calvary Assembly Church in Kingston and a member and secretary of C.H.I.C.'s Investment Club. She was a member of the Belvidere Women's Bowling Association and won a 75 pin over average award and won sixth in all events and eighth place in doubles and singles in the Belvidere city tournament. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend who will be missed.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 25th at Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. A memorial fund is established in care of Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, P. O. Box 251, 202 E. Main St., Genoa, IL 60135.
