Ryan William Easterbrooks, 35, of Kingston, Illinois, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, near Genoa from injuries received in a car crash. Born November 19, 1972, in Richfield, Minnesota, he was the son of Ralph and Connie (Houser) Easterbrooks. He married Kimberly Ann Lauderdale on September 6, 1997, in the Mayfield Church near Sycamore. He was a graduate of Genoa-Kingston High School Class of 1991. He worked as a carpet installer for United Carpet.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Easterbrooks; two sons, Ryan and Ryder Easterbrooks; a daughter, Ravyn Easterbrooks all of Kingston; two sisters, Crystal Jordal of Cortland, Jamie Jordal of Sycamore; three brothers, Kevin Houser, Brandon (Jinjur) Easterbrooks, Robbie (Tiana) Easterbrooks all of Montana; his father, Ralph Easterbrooks of Montana; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Linda Lauderdale of Elgin; two brothers-in-law, James (Angie) Lauderdale of Kingston, Derek (Rachel) Lauderdale of Genoa; two step-sisters, Terry (Jerry) Dobson, Barbi Young all of Cortland; a step-brother, Brian Young of Sycamore;

step-father and mother, Ancel and Connie Young of Belvidere; step-father, Marvin Jordal of Kingston; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harley and Clemence Houser, John and Mary Easterbrooks.

He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 1185. He enjoyed being with his family, the Wildman Rocketry Club and assisting with coaching Little League, soccer, and cheerleading.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, at CrossWind Community Church, 13100 Cherry Road in Genoa with Pastor James P. Freund and Pastor Tim Wills officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 21. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. A memorial fund is established in care of Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, P. O.
