Edith L. Johnson, 95, of Delavan, Wisconsin and formerly of Sycamore, Illinois died Monday, June 2, 2008, at Willow Field Nursing Home in Delavan. She was born October 6, 1912, in Sycamore the daughter of Albert and Bernice (Bell) Lindstrom. She married Russell Johnson on August 26, 1932 in Sycamore. She and Russell retired to Delavan in 1978. Edith was a member of the Women of the Moose in Sycamore for over fifty years. She was also a member of the Brahe Vasa Lodge in Rockford.
She is survived by one nephew, Jack (Cheryl) Lindstrom; one niece, Sharon Lindstrom; great-nieces and great nephews; special friends and caregivers, Mike and Jean Petkoff of Delavan and their children, Jennifer Petkoff, Michael Petkoff, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Ralph Lindstrom.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2008 at Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home, 1245 Somonauk St., Sycamore. Interment will be in Charter Grove Cemetery, rural Sycamore.
