James R. O達rien, 62, of Sycamore, Illinois, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at his home. He was born January 13, 1946, in Chicago the son of James E. and Joan F. (Kraus) O達rien. On February 1, 1975, he married Donna Woodruff in Berwyn. He is a member of The Church of St. Mary in Sycamore. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Roosevelt University, where he received his bachelor痴 and master痴 degrees in American History. James was a caseworker and teacher at the Elgin Mental Health Center for thirty years.
He is survived by his wife, Donna O達rien of Sycamore; his mother, Joan O達rien of the Bethany Heath Care Center; three children, James D., Michael D., and Amy K. O達rien, all of Sycamore. He was preceded in death by his father.
The funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008, at The Church of St. Mary in Sycamore, 244 Waterman Street. The visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home.
