Harry Tindall, of Kirkland died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the home of his nephew in Kirkland. He was born October 14, 1918 in South Grove Township, Illinois the son of Roy and Mamie Tindall. He married Roxie A. Smith on November 24, 1962. He was an South Grove area farmer all of this life. Harry was a member of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau, Kirkland United Methodist Church, and a 1936 graduate of Kirkland High School.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Eleanor Tindall of Kirkland; step-son, Gary (Cyni) Sparks of Carson City, Nevada; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roxie in 2002; two brothers, George Tindall, Marshall Tindall; two sisters, Helen Olson, and Martha Lamont.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2008 at Kirkland United Methodist Church, with Pastor Michael Morrell, officiating. Interment will be in South Grove Cemetery near Kirkland. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday at the church. A memorial fund has been established for South Grove Cemetery in care of Quiram-Kirkland Funeral Home, 309 S. Fifth St., P.O. Box 337, Kirkland, IL 60146.
