Jeffery Lee Williams, 33, of Genoa died Monday, April 28, 2008 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb. He was born August 29, 1974 in Chicago the son of Randall Lee and Mary Kathleen (Jordan) Williams. He was a truck driver and enjoyed working on cars, especially race cars. He raced with his brothers at the Sycamore Speedway and ran demolition derby at the Boone County Fairs as demo number 21C. He was always there to help anyone. His ever-smiling face and great sense of humor made him friends with everyone he met. Children referred to him as Uncle Jeff. His own children meant everything to him.
He is survived by his parents, Mary and Kenny Provost of Genoa; fiancé, Heather Miotto of Genoa; three children, Anthony "Tony" Lee Williams, Jesse Ryan Williams, Ryan Christopher Carmona; two brothers, Danny Lee Williams of Genoa, James "Jimmy" Lee Williams of Sycamore; three step-siblings; four nieces; four nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Randy, his grandparents, and two siblings.
The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home. Interment will be in Genoa Township Cemetery. The visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is established at Citizens First National Bank in Genoa and in care of the Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, Genoa, IL 60135.
